How It Works
Restoring Volume Loss and facial harmony. Unlike some aesthetic practices where the emphasis is on adding volume first and balancing later, our Director has refined the process basing her treatment approach on her “Subtract before you add” theory. Zena has even written about it and been featured in Spa + Clinic Magazine for achieving natural looking aesthetic results.
Using TGA approved products and the latest aesthetic techniques, we begin your consultation by assessing your facial structure including bone, fat pads, skin laxity and changing in your facial shape.
Clinical studies have shown the ageing process causes bone resorption, as well as atrophy (shrinkage) throughout the upper face fat pads. Examples of this include a hollowing of the temples, leading to skin sagging above the eye appearing as hooded eye lids. Additionally, as the nasolabial fold begins to form, older techniques focussed on filling this area, whereas we tend to concentrate on the fat pad situated above to create a lifted and balanced appearance. Lastly we review the jawline, jowls and neck as this has a large impact on ageing the appearance.
While some patients may in fact be better suited to and opt for cosmetic surgery, we provide a non-surgical solution to help reshape the contours of the face in subtle and undetectable ways. In addition to this, we combine these cosmetic treatments with skin support through use of our Ultraformer III followed by our Morpheus8 treatment to tighten the skin, improve the skin strength and integrity for long-term results.
Treatment Areas
The most common areas we restore volume for our clients include:
• The peri-oral area – This includes smoker’s lines, lip border, lip volume and corners of the mouth.
• The mid face – This includes support at the base of the nose, the mid and upper cheeks.
• In the right hands, we may refer our clients to visit our trusted physicians for restoration of the upper face. This includes the Tear Trough area, temples and forehead. The lower face is a common concern amongst our clients, no matter their age.
• Clients who want to understand how to reduce Jowls and restore the definition of there jawline, this may include supporting the chin at the same time.
