While all treatments carry some degree of risk, individual reactions may vary. We pride ourselves on educating you about all the risks associated with anti-ageing cosmetic treatments to ensure you are comfortable prior to proceeding.

Your nurse will have specific instructions for your particular aesthetic treatment based on your skin and where you had the treatments. However, there are a few standard guidelines that will ensure your wrinkle treatments don’t cause any issues in the hours and days after you’ve had your treatment. For the best results, in the following 24 hours from your appointment you should:

• Not touch your treatment areas. This stops the risk of infection and the risk of the formula moving from its intended area.
• Avoid drinking alcohol
• Avoid doing any strenuous activities that would cause sweating
• Avoid applying makeup to the treated area
• Do not press or rub on the treated area (avoid sunglasses or reading glasses that might be a tight fit, and avoid doing things like getting massages where your face might be pressed down).
• Avoid direct sun exposure

In the days following your treatment:

• Avoid facials, peels, laser or waxing
• Use 50+ sunscreen every day
• Avoid blood thinning medications like aspirin
• Avoid saunas or excessive sweating
