Delivered by our experienced registered nurses, this non-surgical procedure uses microfine needles to create microscopic channels within the skin. This triggers your skin’s natural healing response, causing the release of growth factors that lay down new collagen and elastin while removing damaged cells from the skin. This process realigns the skin matrix, making it tighter, smoother, and less blemished.
What is the difference between microneedling and skin needling?
Microneedling, also known as skin needling or collagen induction therapy, involves the use of tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-injuries prompt the production of collagen-rich tissue, leading to younger, smoother, and firmer-looking skin. A series of 4-6 treatments, spaced every 4-6 weeks, offers optimal results for a revitalised complexion. The difference between Micro-needling and Skin Needling is the depth of penetration of the needles. At MA we have both the Skin Pen Skin Needling device and the Morpheus 8 RF micro needling device. This allows us the option to use both RF and non RF heat based devices to address concerns.
